Learning something new

Today we analyzed the poem You’re by Sylvia Plath. We also determined all the similes and metaphors and learned how to explain their function. The process of spotting out the similes and metaphors was really simple, but explaining the function was confusing at first. The method we learned to help determine the function really helped me understand the concept.
