Reading The Color Purple

Today we started class off by answering 7 questions based on letters 1-5 of The Color Purple. Some of these questions was really easy for me to answer. The only question that I had trouble answering was based on the relationship of Celie and her mother. From the first 5 entries, I couldn’t determine the type of relationship they shared since little information about her mother was shared. We also read letters 14-21. I found these letters really enjoyable because I have watched the movie a few times in my life. Some lines from the letters I remembered from the movie ,which made it really exciting for me.
