Analyzing a sonnet

Today in class we watched a video of The Lord’s Prayer in old English. I’ve learned that the King James Bible and Shakespeare consists of Middle English and that almost all of William Shakespeare plays and sonnets is written in Iamic pentameter. My class and I learned how to find the rhyme scheme of a sonnet. We also learned about the Iamic Pentameter and everything it consists of. We had a chance to put these skills into practice and it was a pretty exciting assignment. When it came to analyzing the sonnet,it was pretty hard at first to understand due to the choice of words.
