The Wife of Bath‘s tale

I enjoyed reading The Wife of Bath’s tale. This tale really caught my attention when the knight went searching for the answer to “What is the thing that women most desire?” Although I’m a female, I was very unsure about the answer. My favorite part about today’s lesson is when Mr. Reese asked some of the males in our class for their opinion. They was just as unsure as I was. I personally feel as if there are plenty things that women desire but it’s different for each woman. As we continued reading, we learned that the knight went to a old wise woman and asked her for the answer. She responded with control. I did not expect that to be the answer. I thought it would’ve been happiness or true love.
