A very encouraging poem

Today we read two poems. The poem that stood out most to me was “Mother to Son.” This poem was very inspirational and encouraging to me. It gave me hope for any trails that may come in my life in the future. I also connected this poem to how I feel now in life. Some things that go on is a little hard for me to handle, but I continue to push forward. I gave up a little on myself on some things because it just seems impossible, but this poem has helped me realize that just because something in life is hard doesn’t mean I need to quit!
