Poetry recitation

Today was a memorable day for me. I overcame one of my fears of public speaking. I am so proud of myself. I did a wonderful job on my recitation. I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I would be. I did get nervous when I saw that everyone was looking at me all at once but I tried to hide it. Aliyah and Chris really supported me through it because I was so nervous about it before I even got to class. It was wonderful to be able to overcome a fear because if I can overcome this fear I can overcome anything.
