Chapter 8

In this chapter , Amir and Hassan relationship becomes distant. Amir lies to Baba about Hassan. He told him that he’s sick with a cold instead of just telling the truth.  I think Amir is starting to feel guilty for not helping Hassan, so he try to avoid him as much as possible. Now he does not even like to be in the same room as Hassan. He feels as if the air is gone when he’s around. He also talks about his relationship with Baba. Baba and Amir is doing more together now. Amir did get upset when he found out Baba was bringing family on the trip with them. I think Amir really triggered Baba when he asked about another servant. Amir states that Baba drove away without even saying goodbye which caused him to feel embarrassed.
